Scout Map Adventure Programs
Both Boy and Girl Scout programs incorporate maps and navigation skills into many of their activities and badge programs. Orienteering, map and compass, hiking. surveying are just a few of these activities. Orienteering Unlimited has been instrumental in assisting these programs. We have written part of the Girl Scout badge program as well as making the map of their national training center in Briarcliff, New York.
We have also made maps for councils in various parts of the United States. For Boy Scouts we have been involved in producing different styles of maps to match various programs-orienteering maps, trail maps and facility maps.
