Orienteering Unlimited offers periodic courses for teachers at a variety of locations throughout the United States. Custom courses can also be offered at your site. Many courses are offered for in-service or college credit.

Our Teacher Programs
are custom designed for each client. A typical program includes 8 hours of instruction. A sample custom map is typically made for whatever area is used.

These hands-on workshops can range in length from a few hours to many days. Almost from the outset, participants will find themselves involved in a wide range of practical learning activities. Teachers will find themselves learning to make simple classroom maps, designing navigational activities, and taking part in original Orienteering exercises they have designed themselves.

Take-Home Materials An Orienteering Unlimited teacher training workshop provides participants with plenty of materials with which to begin an Orienteering program. Teachers leave with:
